With the depreciation of the Turkish Lira, as in many sectors, there has been a great confusion about game prices. Especially in games with large budgets, that is, 60 – 70 euros abroad, we see prices ranging from 400 TL to 1000 TL.
Sometimes it seems that the games are released with local prices in our country or pre-ordered and sold with the wrong pricing. As a matter of fact, The Callisto Protocol game was recently pre-ordered from 90 TL and after a short time, the price was withdrawn to 499 TL. In other words, there is no stable situation in terms of price and even in standard paid games, huge differences can be observed. Two new examples of this are emerging as of today.
The price of the 40 TL game increased to 296 TL
The price of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge , which has a price of 40 TL at the time of release, has increased to 259 TL. In other words, we can say that the current price of the game, which comes out of the water at a cheap price with 40 TL, is actually at a cheaper level than abroad. Normally, the price of the game abroad is in the 20 – 24 Euro band. In our country, the price increase was made with 15 euros.
On the other hand, the Company of Heroes 3 game is also available for pre-order. The standard version of the game is 799 TL, and the Digital premium version is on sale for 1,099 TL.
