We don’t even remember how many different gaming mice we’ve reviewed on these pages so far. Even Excel files are quite complicated. However, quality products and how they make you feel are not easily removed from your memory. For example, if you ask which three products you would put on top of all the mice you examined; without a moment’s thought, we answer Logitech PRO X Superlight, Razer Viper Ultimate , and Xtrfy MZ1 Zy’s Rail .
Of course, this issue goes hand in hand with experience and personal expectations, just like in games. Our job is to pass on to you what we see and ultimately leave the decision to you.
The Korean company Pulsar is quite new to the industry, they have been with us since 2020 and have signaled that they will be here permanently with a great product like Xlite in this short time. Pulsar, which is basically based on the much-loved ergo design of the Zowie EC2 and has completely reworked the body by expanding it a little more, has lightened the product to 49 grams with previously untested design choices (the bottom of the mouse was completely empty), adding high performance and a successful quality of workmanship to create a huge, growing fan base for themselves.
Considering that the Xlite Wireless model has reached us without opening the gap too much, the company is not very conservative in this regard and seems to continue to pursue innovations.
Xlite Wireless, which has three color options as black, white and red, is a model that can maintain its characteristic air even among all the ultralight mice that have taken over the market, and when you look at it with a little squinting, it reaches us with body cuts that resemble Tetris sticks. There are no fingerprints left on the matte exterior level, and the grip feel is quite successful.
Weighing 58 grams, the mouse is available in medium dimensions (122x66x42mm) to suit any grip style and is highly ergonomic. With the contribution of its lightness and cuts on the side surfaces, you have no problem lifting it from the ground. It is also admirable that the presence of the battery has added only 9 grams. Moreover, the battery life is approaching 70 hours. It’s extremely good for one of the most performant mice on the market, and that’s also due to the fact that the lighting is limited to a single LED.
The wheel of the mouse is silent, its rigidity is extremely thick and does not slip off your finger. The quality of the material is also combined with the workmanship at this point because you do not hear any creaking when you shake the mouse, nor do you feel any creaking when you apply force on it. It may sound surprising to such a light mouse, but don’t be surprised. Because this distinguished product of the Pulsar has passed the standard drop-down test of the American army and has managed to obtain the MIL-STD-810G certificate. It may be lightweight, but rest assured, it’s quite durable.
The PixArt PAW3370 sensor is used. Is this sensor the fastest on the market, no, but we can easily say that it is the most optimized, most complete sensor in terms of combining power consumption and performance. Supporting up to 20000dpi, the sensor will fulfill all your performance expectations with 1000Hz polling rate, 400 IPS speed and 50G acceleration values. The main switcher used was from the Omron 20 series in the wired version, while in this model is the Kailh 8.0, which is not a more popular switch in the market. Let us remind you that they have a lifespan of 80 million clicks. The function keys do not give the feeling of a sponge and are extremely precise, we liked it very much.
Let’s go into a little more detail. When you look under the mouse, you will notice the lightweight, grilleless design that is the trademark of the Pulsar Xlite. I know those who have cats are scared that the hair will escape, so let me distract you immediately. The five-piece skates in the Xlite model have been replaced with three-piece Virgin Grade PTFE sensors in this model. I think that the weight of the battery is a choice made not to disturb the balance of the mouse, and whoever thought about it, health to their hands because the mouse flows like oil. I won’t take too long, it was one of the best gliding experiences I’ve ever seen. If that’s still not enough, Connect Game, the distributor of the mouse, also sells Superglide glass skates produced for Xlite. Of course, we cannot say that the prices are low.
Finally, the paracord-like cable can be removed and the range can be extended by adding the 2.4Ghz Wireless adapter, which has a latency of around 1ms , to the cable end. Xlite does not have Bluetooth support.
If we look at the application support, even if you are an esportsman, you will have to make some critical settings under the Xlite Wireless application. In addition to the Debounce Time setting, you can find the LOD (1mm-2mm) setting and all the other necessary settings here. There is also macro support, but I don’t recommend it these days, don’t let yourself get away with the games.
Friends who have become Xlite Wireless, guys who have made mice like Elden Ring. It’s simple, very performant, and it’s a pleasure to spend time together. Considering that its price is 1300 TL , it will be a serious competitor to all the mice above. Ergo design is a much superior mouse than the Zowie EC2.
