The new game of the Octopath Traveler series, which first debuted in 2018 and sold more than 3 million with its first game, is coming next year. Octopath Traveler II, the turn-based Japanese role-playing game that will debut in February 2023, will be presented by developer and publisher Square Enix.
The latest trailer released in this pre-release period, where new videos for the game are released, showcases various mechanics of the game. The Merchant and The Scholar new trailer features two of the game’s eight new heroes. This trailer, which introduces merchant Partitio and Osvald the Scholar, as well as the new combat mechanic Latent Powers, additionally showcases new ways to travel within the game.
On the other hand, 20 minutes of gameplay footage was presented during the official broadcast of Octopath Traveler II at the Tokyo Game Show 2022.

The story of the game will take place in Solistia, a country consisting of an eastern and western continent divided by the sea. In this distant land, eight travelers from different regions will set out for their own purposes. You will manage this character. By replacing these characters, you’ll use their unique abilities to help you along your journey and explore the continent the way you want from start to finish.
Octopath Traveler II will debut for PC on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch and Steam on February 24, 2023.
