Developer 2K Games has announced that Michael Jordan will be featured on the cover of NBA 2K23. Along with the basketball star’s appearance on the game’s cover, NBA 2K23 brings back the iconic Jordan Challenges to keep Jordan’s legacy alive.
Alfie Brody, vice president of global marketing strategy for the NBA 2K series, said: “The NBA 2K series is among the most recognized in the sports category. Choosing Michael Jordan for NBA 2K23 was a better fit in that respect.”
As it is known, Jordan was featured on the covers of 2K11, 2K12 and 2K16 Special Edition games. Now it will grace the covers of Michael Jordan and Champion editions. Apart from these versions, it has not yet been announced which star will be for the Standard version.
Jordan Challenges will feature iconic moments. It is stated that this mode, which will have 15 important moments in total, has been rebuilt.
The game will debut on September 9 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. On July 7, pre-orders will open.
