Publisher PLAION and Japanese developer Toylogic have announced Warlander, a free-to-play, third-person, online multiplayer war game set in a medieval fantasy world. The game will first be released as an open beta for PC on Steam starting September 12. Then at a later date it will come to the ninth generation consoles.
Based on player support of up to a hundred people, the struggle to enter opponents’ strongholds, and the destruction of the main core, Warlander will feature skirmishes and castle siege. You will be able to join and fight the game as part of two or five separate armies.
In Warlander, players will be able to play as a warrior, clergyman or sorcerer with unique skills. Players will be able to customize skills and abilities in this game. The game will have two game modes in the first place. The first is a two-team mode for up to 40 players and a five-team mode for up to 100 players.
