Former PlayStation developers Michael Mumbauer and John Garvin – best known from Last of Us and Days Gone – have announced their new studio, Liithos. They want to take the approach to the gaming industry from a different perspective, make crypto assets a part of the games and include players in this market. Ashfall, the open-world game they are currently working on, is the first AAA production to be released on PC and consoles with crypto elements.
New game Ashfall is being developed that will include NFT
Last of Us fans need to know that Ashfall won’t be like John Garvin and Michael Mumbauer’s old projects. In the game where the intensity is given to PvP and PvE, players will focus on game NFTs. NFTs, which have become increasingly common in recent years, seem to be promising in markets that suddenly lose value. Ashfall will use HBAR, a token of the Hedera Network. Players will be able to earn and acquire something from Hedera’s platform with the help of this network.
Unlike PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass, Ashfall aims to make sure players can earn crypto assets and be part of this growing market.

Ashfall will take place in a dystopian world with a rotten climate. The game will focus on both PvP and PvE features, which means players can play the game however they want. While we don’t have many details about the production yet, the developers say that the game will “take place in a rich world with attractive characters and an engaging story.” We don’t have a release date yet for Liithos’ new game that will include NFT.
