Recently, a Reddit user named MissFeepit posted a post. The post was related to the cancelled Star Wars game. In the MissFeepit post,
“Lucasart was a client of my fiancée’s relative. So he had the chance to test a lot of games himself. One of the games he tested was Star Wars: Battlefront III. The game was cancelled, but most people didn’t hear it. All documents related to the game have been returned to Skywalker Ranch.
But one test CD has been forgotten. The AI wars, CTF and Conquest worked just fine. Years later, while he was mixing up his old games, he came across this CD. As a result of our research on the Internet, this appears to be the only copy of the game. To be honest, we’re wondering what it’s worth. There are no scratches on the CD, so it’s probably working fine,” he wrote.
Cancelled Star Wars game was for PSP
If we look at the visuals, the game is a PSP game. He attached it to PSP and shot it in a few images, but none of them contained an in-game image. There were approximately 11 Star Wars games on PSP before. It is not known at what time the PSP was intended to be removed, as no date was specified in the post.
However, to make a small guess, Star Wars Battlefront II was released in 2005. Of course, different Battlefront games appeared in 2007 and 2009, respectively. The star wars game, which was probably canceled, was being tested around 2010-2011. It is likely that it was cancelled because there were periods when the PSP era was slowly closing.
