Electronic Arts, the publisher and developer company that stands out with game series such as Battlefield and FIFA, has reached a new cooperation. In this context, it announced a long-term agreement with Marvel Games. Under this agreement, Electronic Arts will bring the three newest action adventure games to consoles and PC, each set in the Marvel universe and with its own story. The first fruit of this agreement is the Iron Man game, which is currently developed by Motive and announced in September.
Electronic Arts and Marvel Games have reached agreements for at least three games
Electronic Arts rolled up its sleeves to bring new games to the Marvel universe with this agreement. Along these lines, EA COO Laura Miele said in a press release: “We have been Marvel fans for a long time and are very impressed by this theme. That’s why this deal is really important for our developers, players and fans. We know that this collaboration will provide exceptional experiences for our players. We can’t wait to see your reactions in this first game where you will take on an adventure by taking on the role of Iron Man.”
Developed in collaboration with Marvel Games, the first game will touch on Iron Man’s rich past, presenting Tony Stark’s life, charisma and creative genius. Players will really feel what it’s like to play as Iron Man thanks to this game. The game will have an original story.
On the other hand, the team that developed the Iron Man game is led by Olivier Proulx, who has worked on past Marvel games such as Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. The team also includes Ian Frazier, Maëlenn Lumineau and JF Poirier.
