The Settlers: New Allies release date announced as February 17
In this real-time strategy game, players will settle in a new country, build their community, meet new factions, and choose those factions as allies or enemies to protect and defend new settlements.
Players can enjoy The Settlers: New Allies in one of three game modes:
- Single-player campaign: The people of Elari are forced to flee their homeland and settle in new and unknown territories. These migrants will have to face many challenges on their journey, from the raid of ruthless bandits to the discovery of the new culture of this land.
- Hardcore Mode: In this mode, players will play new scenarios, while a wide variety of variables and conditions will make AI an even tougher competitor. The most important thing in this new mode, which will put the best players to the test alone or with friends, is to adapt.
- Skirmish (Skirmish): Players will be able to experience solo versus AI, co-op versus AI, or player versus player options, with up to eight players on the 12 maps accessible at launch.
Developed by Ubisoft Düsseldorf and created from the ground up using Ubisoft’s proprietary Snowdrop game engine, players can experience a reinterpretation of the popular The Settlers series adapted for today.
When The Settlers launches, it will be available for purchase in two versions:
- Standard Edition: The main game.
- Luxury Edition: Main game, luxury pack (in-game digital content ‘Explorer pack’, digital art book and soundtrack).
