Publisher Kalypso Media and developer The Dust have announced that the story-driven dark-themed fantasy adventure The Inquisitor will debut for PC on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Steam in Q4 2023.
The Inquisitor is a story-driven, dark fantasy adventure role-playing game with action elements and difficult choices. Based on Jacek Piekara’s best-selling Inquisitor book series, the game takes place in an alternate timeline. Once Jesus is crucified and on the brink of death, he is furious. After this incident, he is released and begins to take revenge on all non-believers. Centuries pass and an army of Inquisitors recovers.
You are Mordimer Madderdin, the Inquisitioner in the service of God. You are sent to the town of Königstein, which is plagued by a series of mysteries and sins. You are tasked with uncovering the truth of a dark evil that is trying to enter the world of the living and that comes from another realm. Keep your faith fresh and eliminate crimes.
