Mac Walters, working in both Mass Effect and Dragon Age series, left the team working for more than 19 years. The head writer behind Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 stated that the decision was taken in 2022 by explaining that Bioware was separated in the past days.
Walters want to be thrown into new adventures in the new year
Walters started his career as the author of Jade Empire, the famous action role making game inspired by Chinese mythology in Bioware. Jade Empire was released as Xbox private game in 2005. But after two years a PC version was released. On the other hand, the Playstation did not exit the consoles. After the
Jade Empire, Walters came to the senior author position for Mass Effect and he served as the head writer in the continuing games (Mass Effect 2 and 3). In addition to this, Mass Effect Andromeda also performed a creative directorship. Finally Walters worked more than a year as a story director at Anthem.
