Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Guerrilla Games are currently working to bring a remastered version of Horizon Zero Dawn to PlayStation 5, according to a report by MP1st . In addition, the report states that Horizon’s online multiplayer structure will come to PlayStation 5 and PC.
The remastered version will reportedly feature an improved lighting system, overhauled textures and better animations, as well as new character models.
A document that includes several Sony Interactive Entertainment projects, announced and unannounced, including a remaster version of Horizon Zero Dawn and an online multiplayer project developed for PlayStation 5 and PC, was recently shared on Gematsu. Gematsu confirmed a lot of the information in this new report. In addition, VGC also confirmed this report published by MP1st.
Horizon Zero Dawn was first released on February 28, 2017 for PlayStation 4, then on August 7, 2020 for Steam and the Epic Games Store for PC.
