Developer miHoYo announced the release of update 2.6 for Genshin Impact, called “Zephyr of the Violet Garden”, on March 30.
The Chasm, a brand new area in the far west of Liyue, will open soon. With this, new stories will emerge. Meanwhile, players will be able to visit Inazuma on the other side of the sea, meet new five-star character Kamisato Ayato and celebrate the Magnificent Irodori Festival.
One of the most important areas of Liyue, The Chasm, was closed due to a mysterious accident and this place was invaded by Treasure Hoarders and Fatui. Players will embark on a variety of adventures in this region, which also opens the door to new boss fights. Ruin will descend to the source of the unknown danger from serpent and abyss. Travelers will also be able to unlock many rewards, including a four-star weapon and an all-new Name Card.
Genshin Impact is currently available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, iOS and Android. A Switch version is also planned.
