Amazon Prime has eyes on Lord of the Rings, while other productions are underway in the background. The second season of The Wheel of Time, which brought controversy with its first season, is currently in its preparations. The studio will have welcomed the messages from the set, which has officially confirmed the show’s third season. In fact, this was an expected development because before the show even began airing, executive Director Rafef Judkins announced that his goals were an eight-season series.
But the controversy over whether he stuck to the book could have left the show in disarm. Especially considering the series that the studios interrupted or made early finals due to the pandemic period we are in, the Wheel of Time could join this caravan. Fortunately, Amazon has shown the confidence and patience it needs to its producers. Of course, just because the next two seasons fall short of expectations doesn’t mean the plug won’t be pulled for the fourth and next seasons. Let’s see if the production team can really reach the eight seasons they dreamed of under the circumstances. Or will the Time Wheel, like so many other series, leave us untimely?
