The battle-oriented shooter game developed by Arrowhead team is experiencing a new development for Helldivers 2. As soon as you know, the Playstation Network account for the PC version of the game was announced to be made mandatory. On this, users kept the game criticism bombing on Steam. Now Sony gave up this attitude.
Sony players had to listen to
Last week Sony announced he would bring the PSN account obligation to play Helldivers 2 on the PC platform as of May 30. Following this announcement, players fled to Steam platform and stressed that there is no such obligation here. After the current announcement, the game received more than 100,000 negative reviews. We are currently facing more than 200.000 negative reviews.
After all this complexity, the game was removed from 177 countries in the past days due to PSN obligation. As you know, Playstation Network does not officially serve in every country. So this prevents gaming access.
In the process we’re located in Sony, all these developments are then stepping back and transferring such a necessity is no longer. It still informs that PC players work to offer the best experience.
Helldivers fans — we’ve heard your feedback on the Helldivers 2 accunt linking update. The May 6 update, which would have required Steam and Playstation Network accunt linking for new players and for current players from May 30, will not be moving forward.
