Rockstar is said to be saying goodbye to unnamed remaster projects. The developer, who started to think seriously about the remaster version of Grand Theft Auto 4 and Red Dead Redemption, stepped back from this idea. The allegations belong to Tez2, one of the leading figures in the Red Dead and GTA communities.
Tez2 had previously managed to make its name known with its “leak” news. According to Tez2;s claims Rockstar has been wanting to develop remaster versions of the original Red Read Redemption and GTA 4 for a long time. But a few weeks ago, the studio decided to scrap this decision.
Of course, we don’t have the information to explain this step back. But as our western friends say, we need to talk about the “elephant in the room” first. The bad taste left by the Grand Theft Auto Remastered Trilogy may have affected not only the players, but also Rocsktar, despite the fact that it reached serious sales figures.
Whatever the reason, unfortunately we will not see the remaster versions of RDR or GTA 4. This makes us deeply sad…
