The communications company said the acquisition could improve its services for communities.

“This acquisition means that we can develop Guilded even faster and undertake more ambitious projects than ever before,” said Eli Brown, guilded’s founder and CEO. In addition, last year, it raised $7 million in a Series A funding round to expand its chat platform development team .
