Publisher and developer Capcom released a new patch Monday for its first-person horror action shooter Resident Evil Village. After this update, some players were unable to log in to the game, and the game crashed in the process. Capcom has officially acknowledged this bug, which caused the game to crash for some players, and stated that they are looking for a solution.
The post from the official Twitter account reads: “With the latest update, some players cannot log in to the game and the game crashes in the meantime. We know this and we are aware of it. We are currently looking for the issue that caused this. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
Capcom also announced that it will host the Resident Evil Showcase on October 21 at 01:00 CET. You’ll be able to watch the event on YouTube and Twitch.
