Remedy Entertainment confirmed that the company cancels the project “Project Kestrel” to focus on other games. This game was originally designed as a free multiplayer game, but then turned into a premium model. After not going forward from concept stage, this project was reviewed comprehensively, known as Vanguard in 2023. In the official statement made by Remedy, the plans were completely canceled.
Project Kestrel Canceled
Project Kestrel, which is funded by Tencent, will not see the light of the day. However, Remedy announced that the developers working in the project will be renamed and won’t work. To complete this change, the company’s general recruitment needs will be reduced.
