There are currently some reports for the reorganized version that arises as part of a rating board list at the beginning of this year. According to the resulting reports, Quake 2 comes an advanced version. Quake 2 is located in two different versions called “Remastered” and “ Enhanced”.
The Enhanced version of Quake 1 was released in 2021. Therefore, it is possible to have the same name of the second game. The new version of Quake 2 is reported to be launched on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
On the other hand this new version will be different from Quake II Rtx, a version of Quake Ii’s advanced beam monitoring, released by Nvidia in 2019. QuakeCon 2023, which is claimed to be announced recently, will be held between 10 – 13 August.
