Netflix went up a small amount worldwide last month. Netflix, which increased its prices in our country by around 50% during these months last year, kept the rate high this time and all packages increased by 40%.
Netflix’s price increase abroad was $9 ;d to $10; (11%) for the basic package; and $18 ;d to $20 (11%) for the special package.
In our country, the new prices and hike rates of the packages are as follows:
Basic Package – $27;to $38 ;($11 hike)
Standard Package – $41 to $58 ($17 increase)
Special Package – $55 to $78 ($23 increase)
These rates are valid from today for new members, while existing members will be notified by email 30 days before membership fees change.
Netflix’s statement is that we are updating our prices to deliver more content, which is standard as usual.

However, we need to update our fees in Turkey to continue to offer a wide range of top quality content and to continue to invest in unique productions such as Club, Midnight at Pera Palas, Stranger Things. As always, you can choose a plan that fits your budget from three membership options that give you complete access to our rich content library.”
Disney+, which will start broadcasting in Turkey on June 14, had a monthly fee of TL 34.99. Amazon Prime, which has the best price and services among them, is currently $7.9 per month.
