“Extraction”, previously known as Rainbow Six Quarantine, was shown for the first time during last E3. Rainbow Six Extraction, where we also see a little gameplay video, will be tactically oriented, just like Siege, where it shares the universe. The play’s director, Patriarch Méthé, said it would not be possible to “move forward frequently” in the play.
Méthé underlines that weapons are not strong enough to win. So in order to succeed, we will have to gather information, take advantage of opportunities and gaps, stay in touch with the team and act using the right equipment, just like siege.
The director, who previously shared that both plays will be of different structures, emphasizes that Siege and Extraction will be aliked at this point. Still, I’d like to test whether we can move forward often by playing personally. Let’s see if the game really involves a “deep” tactical analysis system.
