</b The UK Competition and Markets Committee (CMA,) blocked the Activision agreement in April due to concerns about the effects on the new rising cloud gaming market. In addition to CMA, the last decision of Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard was extended for six weeks. It was planned to object to the CMA decision in the new court process, which will start on July 28th of the
Microsoft. But at the beginning of this week, Xbox and CMA stopped legal transactions in order to have an off-court agreement.
Microsoft now wants to complete the process before the current purchase time (18 July). If things do not go as expected, Xbox will pay 3 billion dollars to Activision Blizzard, and the purchase negotiations will begin again.
