Having decided to leave the single player scenario behind, Battlefield insists on diversifying its multiplayer structure. Farther away from anything we’ve seen in the series so far, hazard zone will send our operators into enemy territory to conduct an investigation.
EA stresses that this is not a battle royale mode. However, it should be noted that the Hard Zone contains the general outlines of battle royale mode. Players will be left with teams of four and 7 different maps. The developer says that operator selection plays a critical role, especially at this point.
When we enter the map, we’ll try to capture the satellites that crashed with our team. But since the other six teams have the same mission, we’ll always find ourselves in the middle of a shootout. Players will collect data from these satellites and try to reach escape points.
Let’s note that this is the main difference of game mode with battle royale type. So instead of destroying our enemies, we’re going to try to get the data we have to the point of origin. The first of the exit points will open in the first minutes of the game, and the last will open between the 10th and 12th minutes.
