When the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home was unveiled, theories were endless. Many fans claim to have seen Matt Murdockin the trailer. But Charlie Cox, who plays Daredevilin the Netflix series, isn’t very clear about it. While we’re unlikely to see him at No Way Home, the next generation of MCU’s Daredevil could be Cox again. Finally, speaking to The Direct, the accomplished actor has made no secret of his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“I don’t want to ruin things in either sense. Do you understand what I’m saying? I’m a little worried about that, you know, it’s a very difficult subject to talk about. All I can say is that we will all wait and see what the process brings, including myself.” Cox said: “The MCUdoesn’t know yet if it’s going to come in or not. He already said about a year ago that he wouldn’t be starring in the new Spider-Man movie and that if it was going to be Matt Murdock, he’d be played by another actor.
Anyway, under normal circumstances, based on the developments at the time, we expected Peter to have a lawyer in the film. But with a messy reality involved, peter parkerseems to need more than just a lawyer to save him. Spider-Man: No Way Home, which will be released on December 17th, is still open to a lot of surprises, so hopefully with a lot of trailers and content, they won’t reveal surprises before the movie.
