Developer CD Projekt RED, which came to the forefront with The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 games, announced five new projects.
These projects include a new Witcher game codenamed “Sirius” developed by The Molasses Flood, a new Witcher trilogy developed by CD Projekt RED, a new Witcher game codenamed “Canis Majoris” developed by third parties, a new Cyberpunk 2077 game codenamed “Orion”, and an entirely new IP codenamed “Hadar” developed by CD Projekt RED.
The Molasses Flood game, codenamed Sirius, is set in the Witcher universe. In addition to the single-player experience, it also aims to offer players a multiplayer experience.
The Witcher Trilogy “comes across as another project codenamed ‘Polaris’. This production, which will open the new Witcher saga, further expands the open-world storytelling known from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The saga will feature three games and will be available to players over a six-year period.
The next project, codenamed ‘Canis Majoris’, will be another full version Witcher game. It is being developed by experienced developers who have worked on previous Witcher games. The Unreal Engine 5 engine will be used.
Another project is codenamed Orion. This game will be the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077. Our ambitious plans will require a lot of work, dedication and further growth of the team.
Finally, a new IP codenamed Hadar is coming. No details were given for the project. However, early stage development of the game began in 2021.
