New information continues to come in for the remake of the original The Witcher, which was announced last month by publisher CD Projekt RED and developer Fool’s Theory. In a presentation this week, the team stated that this recently announced remake project will be a story-driven, single-player open-world role-playing game. He also said that 2007’s The Witcher would be a modern remake.
The Witcher Remake will be open world
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the transfer of the series to a full open world system were also welcomed by the players. It was a really good experience to travel around the open world, explore the surroundings and complete tasks. Now, this structure will be followed in the remake of The Witcher.
The Witcher Remake is being developed with Unreal Engine 5. The remake is currently being done with the Fool’s Theory team, which includes people who have previously worked on The Witcher series. The remake is still in the early stages of development.
There are currently no more details about the game. New details are planned to be announced in the future.
