Capcom launched a new countdown website last week, which ended on Monday (February 21st). The website does not provide any information or images other than the countdown.
Jeff Grubb of VentureBeat, who was in the latest episode of GrubbSnax, said Street Fighter VI will be officially announced when the countdown ends. Grubb: “Fans, get ready for the official announcement of Street Fighter VI. Because that’s what I heard.”
Street Fighter V, the latest game in the fighting series, was released for PlayStation 4 and PC in February 2016. Arcade Edition was released to players for the same platforms in January 2018, and champion edition version was available to players in February 2020.
