Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2had to make a statement in line with the notifications from players after the PlayStation open beta. The company said that the change made to the mini-map in the game will remain constant and players will have to get used to it.
Now the use of a minimap is a little more difficult
Due to the feedback from players after the first week of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Playstation open bate, Infinity Ward has announced some important issues. The most popular and important among them is the one about the mini-map. The mini-map will no longer show you the location of the enemies that are shooting at you. Yes, you have seen correctly, it does not mean anything to look at the mini-map by saying from which side the bullet came from when they shot at you.
The developer took a very strong stance by announcing that he would no longer make a change to the mini-map and that it would remain so. The decision, which prevents enemy weapon firing points from being seen on the mini-map, has caused a serious debate among Call of Duty players, and they have raised their voices about the removal of this new feature on social media. The original mini hari had been working normally for years, so when it was fired, it showed the side of the enemy, now if this decision is made, things are a bit complicated.

The information from the minimap was vital because it was crucial in Call of Duty multiplayer mode due to the game’s crazy nature and fast-flowing rhythm. In the Infinity Ward statement, the mini-map was designed to show the location of enemies point-by-point only when IHA is active. The developer states that “players don’t want to punish them for shooting.” Instead of focusing on the mini-map during the game, it wants players to trust their intelligence more.
If red dots on the mini map negatively effect casual players, why did it take Infinity Ward or Activision 15 Call of Duty games to realize it?

Infinity Ward recommends following the auditory clues and focusing more on the game, rather than constantly focusing on the mini-map to locate the gunshots. But this is an action that can only be done by players with high-quality equipment. So if you don’t have a good headset, surround system, or soundbar TV setup, this contraction becomes a serious torture.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 It’s coming out on October 28 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
