Mobile gaming firm Animoca Brands has announced the acquisition of Sydney-based publisher Blowfish Studios.
Animoca acquired Blowfish Studios in a deal worth $25.8 million.
With the acquisition, Animoca announced that it aims to leverage Blowfish Studios’ expertise in multi-platform game development and broadcasting.
Founded in 2010 by Benjamin Lee and Aaron Grove, Blowfish Studios continues to develop games such as YesterMorrow, Siegecraft Commander and Storm Boy.
In an earlier acquisition, Animoca Brands acquired Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid developer nWay.
