Developer Whippoorwill has announced that it will release the discovery game A Short Hike for PlayStation 4 this fall. A Short Hike was first released for PC via Steam and Itch.io in July 2019, and then for switch in August 2020.
About the game
Hike, climb and glide through the peaceful mountainous landscapes of Hawk Peak Provincial Park.
Follow marked trails or explore the countryside as you head towards the summit. Meet other hikers along the way, discover hidden treasures and dive into the world around you.
Properties
• Explore the island as you wish. Choose your own path to follow and see where it takes you. You never know what you’re up against!
• Walk at any pace — there’s no need to rush to the top! Take the time to fish along the riverbanks or swim by the lake.
• Collect hidden treasures to reach new heights. Try jumping off mountaintops to glide over the forests.
• Chat with other hikers along your route. You might have a chance to help each other!
• Listen to a great original soundtrack from Mark Sparling that rises dynamically as you explore the wilderness.
