Slime Rancher 2 is a sequel to the first-person life simulation – farming game that debuted in 2016. Developer Monomi Park expands the original world with the new Rainbow Island, which includes all the new Slimes to capture. These slimes take their place in the game world as alien-like creatures that look like jelly bean.
It is very important to combine and feed the slimes in the game. Already the basis of the game revolves around this. Combining these slimes provides players with various rewards and allows them to make unique combinations.
Combining the two Slime Slime in Rancher 2 offers players a larger hybrid slime known as Largo, which often incorporates the physical attributes that each of the original species possesses. There are more than a dozen slimes you can find in Slime Rancher 2. These slimes have different characteristics. There are also many combinations in the game that will be discovered and reward the player in different ways.
Some Largos in Slime Rancher 2 are easier to manage than others
To create a Largo, players can feed a Slime. Thanks to this nutrition, various sources are produced by Slime. Feeding a Tabby Slime Pink Slime will turn him into a Pink Tabby Largo. The reverse will function in the same way.
If a Largo eats different nutrients from the two source Slime, it turns into Tarr Slime, which consumes everything in front of it and multiplies in large quantities. So make sure your Pink Tabby Largo doesn’t eat a Rock Slime plort (anything other than Pink or Tabby).
This list includes five Largo combinations you should make. These combinations provide more items that can be sold for profit, which helps to move forward. Therefore, it is necessary to do these things in the game.
– Pink-Phosphor Largo
Pink Slimes is the mascot of Slime Rancher and is one of the slimes that you will come across in abundance at the beginning. These are quite harmless and do not have a specific favorite dish. With it, the bearaber Pink-Phosphor (phosphorus) loves Cuberries.
Since Phosphorus Slimes are lost when exposed to sunlight for too long, you need to install a Solar Shield for their protection. Pink and Phosphors are sold to Newbucks for 10 and 22 each. But given how little maintenance these Largos require, players can quickly save money.
– Cotton-Tabby Largo
Tabbies are another common type of Slime located in Slime Rancher.
Feed them new Cotton creatures and watch them transform into Cotton Tabby Largo. The original Tabbies were carnivores and consumed meat to survive. But this combination of Largo makes them herbivores. This is a good thing, as plants are more abundant. Cotton plorts are sold for 15, and Tabby for 22 Newbucks. Their favorite dish is Water Lettuce.
– Honey-Crystal Largo
Another Slime pair featured at Slime Rancher is the Honey-Crystal Largos. The crystal one has spikes to protect itself, which causes the player high damage. It turns out that Honey and Crystal are worth it given the Newbucks cost of 45 and 60 respectively. Favorite food: Mint Mango.
– Boom-Batty Largo
This Largo combines the harmful Boom Slimes with the docile Batty ones. Pomegranate plant for this winged creature is among the combinations that stand out because it is easier to find than chickens. These Largos grow in sunlight. Therefore, it should be kept in dark and closed areas.
– Rock-Angler Largo
Rock Slime is a very familiar face in Slime Rancher, but combines it with the all-new Angler to create a new Largo genre. Angler’s blinding flash can stun other Slimes (other than Tarr), making it easy to collect.
Rock, on the other hand, is a fairly common creature despite its damaging feature and provides a fast stream of income. Rock and Angler costs 22 and 20 in-game plorts each.
Slime Rancher 2 was first released in early access and is currently available on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
