Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed Codename RED and Assassin’s Creed Codename HEXE, the next two main games in the Assassin’s Creed series, following Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Code names are temporary names for the games and these names will be changed later.
Assassin’s Creed Codename RED will add another dimension to the series’ open-world role-playing design. Codename RED will take players to Feudal Japan. The game is being developed at Ubisoft Quebec, the developer of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, with creative director Jonathan Dumont in charge.
Assassin’s Creed Codename HEXE, which is defined as a very different type of Assassin’s Creed experience, is being developed at Ubisoft Montreal with creative director Clint Hocking.
Both games will be part of Assassin’s Creed Codename INFINITY. Assassin’s Creed Codename INFINITY will represent and connect players with another dimension of old and new Assassin’s Creed games. INFINITY will also include a multiplayer project that will be presented in a standalone structure.
