At VCT EMEA 2022, we met the VALORANT Regional Leagues, where teams from all over Europe face opponents from their home countries. In these leagues, teams not only return home victorious, but also VCT EMEA Challengers 2. It aims to find a place in the stage.
During Week 1, we witnessed teams spread across continents step into the world of the future and play the best VALORANT game in each region as they try to prove their superiority.
Here’s a recap of Week 1 for kidnappers:
Turkey: Unity
It goes without saying that Turkey is one of the regions where VALORANT competition is experienced at the highest level. Every encounter on the road to the top in Turkey is a different storm of excitement and so far the whole series has been the scene of great contention. In several BO3 matches this week, the leadership has changed hands. There are three teams at the top of the leaderboard, but anything can happen at any time in this battle of intelligence, skill and willpower.

Spain, the sun-warmed paradise, also exacerbates the VCT with its warmth. This league has teams such as former First Strike Europe winner Team Heretics and relatively new entrler KOI. As the competition heats up, we can’t wait to see if Heretics can reclute the crown it lost a long time ago and become the best team in Spain once again.’
