Ubisoft has announced that it will be shutting down online features and services for some of its older games, effective September 1. As a result, access to some DLC will be cut off and some games will not be playable.
Ubisoft says this will allow players who play new or more popular games to further improve their experience. Actually, of course, it’s a logical approach, but the fact that some DLC will also be inaccessible is not good news for the owners of these games.
