Publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games have announced that they will be releasing the PlayStation 5 version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge digitally on November 15.
There won’t be a free upgrade from the PlayStation 4 version, but Tribute Games wrote: “This version is the same as [the PlayStation 4 version] and doesn’t include any additional features or content.”
In North America, Limited Run Games will sell Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge for PlayStation 5 in a variety of editions, including the standard edition, Classic Edition, Radical Edition and Fan Bundle. Pre-orders are currently available and will close on November 27.
In Europe, Merge Games will release a physical standard version for the game, which will be available on November 25, and a special edition through Signature Edition Games, which will be available shortly.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge was first released on Steam for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on June 16.
From the teams behind Streets of Rage 4 and Mercenary Kings, this new side-scrolling beat ’em up game will feature pixel-art graphics, improved old-style gameplay with all-new mechanics, a new story mode, four-player multiplayer and more.
Each character, vehicle, weapon, item and background in the game is directly inspired by the cartoon series that began airing in 1987.
