God of War (2018) was the longest game in the series, with a main story at least twice as long as its predecessors and plenty of side content. God of War: Ragnarok is expected to be bigger and better in the same way as other sequels.
God of War creator David Jaffe recently uploaded a video to his YouTube channel and said the upcoming sequel will have 40 hours of gameplay.
Of course, it’s not clear that’s going to happen yet. Jaffe: “Things are cut, things are added. But all I can say now is that the new God of War is aimed at 40 hours of gameplay.”
An average completion time of 40 hours will be a big increase after God of War (2018), which lasts about 20-25 hours.
God of War: Ragnarok is expected to be shown at the new Sony event, according to leaks.
