Cross-support in multi-platform games is a feature that players constantly demand and appreciate when supported. In this way, friends from different platforms can come together, especially in multiplayer games, and players with more than one platform can continue their games using the platform of their wish.
One of the upcoming games on PC, Monster Hunter Rise, was also curious to see if it would have this feature. The game will only be available on two platforms, Switch and PC. However, Capcom explained that the main game and the upcoming Sunbreak expansion will not have cross-recording or cross-game features.
“We are aware of your demands, but unfortunately, although we have addressed this problem during the development process, we have found that it is not possible to implement this feature for now. As always, we are grateful for your ongoing feedback and support,” Capcom said.
The PC version of Monster Hunter Rise will be released on January 12, 2022, but tomorrow the game’s demo will be released, and anyone who wishes will be able to try Monster Hunter Rise. However, the lack of cross-support in the game eliminates the possibility that players with both platforms can continue the game on the Switch on the go.
