Valve announced the new location and start date of the world-famous Dota 2 tournament, The International 10, after the government decided to cancel the event in Stockholm, Sweden.
Valve will host the Dota 2 The International 10 tournament in Bucharest, Romania. Due to the change in the location of the event, Valve postponed the start date of The International 10 tournament from 5 August to 7 October. The group stage is scheduled for October 7 and the playoffs on October 12.

We are excited to announce that The International 10 – Dota 2 Championship will be held in Bucharest, Romania this October, and will take place at Arena Nationala, Romania’s largest stadium, one of the most suitable places for the epic challenge for the Aegis of Champions.
The group stage will be played from October 7th to October 10th, and the main stage will begin on October 12th. Then, on October 17, the world’s two best Dota 2 teams will compete for their share of the Aegis and the $40,018,195 prize pool. Additional information on ticket sales will be provided soon.
