Horizon Zero Dawn came out in 2017 and we met the sequel in February of this year. Although it has not been a long time since the first game of this series, where we witnessed the story of the character named Alloy, it was claimed that it would already be remastered. According to reports, Guerilla Games is currently preparing to sign a series of innovations that will add multiplayer modes to the game, as well as developing Horizon: Zero Dawn Remastered for PS5 and PC.
Horizon: Zero Dawn Remastered release may come
Especially while the discussions of The Last of Us Remake continued, reports emerged that Sony was trying to bring a similar, even much newer game. It’s not certain whether this new game will be a complete remake like The Last of Us Part 1 or just a remastered, but some details indicate that the game will be a remastered project with more innovations. According to the news, with the graphical and animation improvements to be made, the first game will be re-introduced in Forbidden West quality.
It has even been claimed that this new version will be released close to the release period of the Horizon series in partnership with Sony and Netflix and will be a kind of launch product of this series. We can call it a kind of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Cyberpunk 2077 tactic.
Aside from this remaster news, it also claims that Guerilla Games is working a Horizon multiplayer game for PS5 and PC. A 2020 job posting revealed that Guerilla Games was looking for a game programmer with multiplayer experience to work on an “epic open-world game.”
