This is the third time I’ve come forward with the news of Forza Horizon 5. I certainly didn’t have that plan at the start of the day. But Forza shows that he deserves it, especially since this is news that’s worth sharing.
As you know, the accessibility features of the games have been one of the important topics on the agenda in recent years. We’ve seen some very successful examples in this field, such as The Last of Us 2, which has been widely praised. Now it looks like Forza Horizon 5 is next.
The other day, a text was posted on Xbox Wireabout the accessibility options of Forza Horizon 5. According to the information shared by Playground Games Creative Director Mike Brown, many features have been included in the game, such as the voice of text, conversion options from text to sound or audio to text, adjustable game speed, customizable subtitle options, high contrast mode, colorblind mode, closing moving backgrounds, adjusting the time it takes to keep alerts on screen. One of the accessibility features will be the addition of American and English sign languages to the game; the cinematics in the game will be translated into sign language.
The statement says it is estimated that around 400 million players worldwide have barriers to accessing the games, and from there they are trying to take steps to ensure that as many people as possible have access to them. As a result, it’s a nice move to add sign language to the options.
These are good developments for the gaming world. I hope that initiatives in this direction will continue to increase in the coming period.
