Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds announced
Ubisoft announced that Lost Between Worlds, a new expansion pack* coming to Far Cry 6, will be released on December 6 at 135? (For PC) or as part of an Upgrade Card, Xbox Series X|S has announced that it will be available on the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store for Xbox One®, PlayStation 5, PlayStation®4, and Windows PC.
In Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds, players will begin an exciting new chapter of Dani Rojas’ story set in the shattered version of Yara. While exploring the area where a mysterious meteorite fell, Dani finds himself in a distorted space between worlds, accompanied by a disembodied life form called Fe. Players will need to repair Fe’s broken spaceship by collecting five missing pieces, each of which increases Dani’s chances of survival and brings them one step closer to escaping where they fell.
To find and retrieve lost pieces, players will need to use their guerrilla skills to advance through 15 challenging and impressive areas called Rift. Rifts have Shardfaces, humanoid and animal-like crystal enemies lurking around every corner.
Like a shattered castle suspended in the sky and the underwater Esperanza full of deadly traps, Rifts each unique, players will face different dangers and extraterrestrial obstacles. Players can choose how to handle each Rift. They can also find powerful weapons and vehicles along the way. Players who collect pieces of energy scattered throughout the region can revive themselves if necessary and get the chance to retry the Rift from where they left off. With plenty of branching paths, platforming exploration, and intense moment-to-main action, players will experience a unique experience with each attempt as they master this twisted world.
Once the mission is complete, players will be able to take Fe’s powerful equipment back to Yara for a spiritual supremacy in the ongoing fight against the regime.
Ubisoft also announced that a free trial of Far Cry 6 for new players will be available on the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One®, PlayStation 5, PlayStation®4, and Windows PC starting today. Players will be able to explore the Isla Santuario region. Those who want to continue the fight for freedom will be able to preserve their game progress and benefit from discounts on game, Season Pass and DLC content.
