eFootball 2023 is out. Konami announced that the renewed version of eFootball is available for free with console and mobile versions other than PC, as it was last year. In fact, we can say that the game has been upgraded to the 2023 version with a major update on top of the previous version. The official statement and details about the release of the game are as follows;
eFootball 2023 released for free
eFootball is entering its second year, bringing with it updated player data and transfers from the summer period. With its ‘free to play’ model, KONAMI is working hard to bring the latest developments in football simulation games to gamers, especially the updated rosters and stadiums of most of the partner and licensed clubs.
New Partnerships
eFootball 2023 is celebrating the return of two former partner clubs, Italy’s domestic league champions AC Milan and cup winners FC Internazionale. This will be the clubs’ full squads, jerseys and the common iconic stadium San Siro, which they share, will take their place in the game.
Thanks to a very special licensing agreement, Liga BBVA MX is coming to eFootball 2023! All 18 Mexican clubs, exact copies of the players and the historic Estadio Azteca stadium are thus presented to the taste of the fans. But it’s not just clubs that KONAMI has added. English international right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold and Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes join the list of top Player Ambassadors, including Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr. and Takefusa Kubo.
New Card Types
The latest version of eFootball™ brings two new card types for the game’s popular game mode “Dream Team”: “Epic” and “Highlight”.
‘Epic’ – The epic cards will focus on key players in football history and pay homage to their most brilliant periods.
‘Highlight’ – Featured cards will focus on the current season and select the current players who have ignited world football in the 2022/23 season.
New Club Packs
With the addition of Italian giants AC Milan and FC Internazionale Milano, as well as Mexican team ‘Club America’, eFootball™ 2023 comes with Club Packs that allow users to add the entire team to their Dream Team roster at once.
Previously in the eFootball™ series, users had the ability to choose from nine partner clubs when playing offline in ‘Trial Matches’. eFootball™ 2023 brings that number to 26, bringing legendary clubs such as AC Milan, FC Internazionale Milano, AS Roma, S.S.C. Napoli, Club America and Santos F.C. into the game mode.
