We all know now that Sony wants to gradually bring games that were previously Playstation 4 exclusive to PC; The first example was Horizon Zero Dawn, followed by Days Gone. Naturally, there is a curious wait for PC gamers;
There were many posts about Ghost of Tsushima yesterday and today. In fact, in March of this year, the Twitter account Crazy Leaks On A Train gave a small list of exclusive games coming to the PC. This account has a slight credibility as it is one of the accounts that has previously provided Mass Effect Remaster; Kingdom Hearts; arrival on PC exclusively in the Epic Games Store, etc. That message said “Bloodborne, Uncharted Collection, Ghost of Tsushima, God of War.”
Today, another account posted “Uncharted Collection, Ghost of Tsushima and God of War coming to PC according to industry leaks”. These are names that we’ve always known, so if you turn ten people down the road and say, “Can you count ps4 games that can be adapted to PC”, you’ll hear more or less 🙂
Ghost of Tsushima stands out so much because the “PlayStation only” in the game’s box was removed with the latest update. Naturally, on this development, suddenly everyone started saying, “Ghost of Tsushima is coming to PC.”. As a result, horizon zero dawn and days gone were removed from the phrase, and then the games came to PC. But in fact, this is what we call selectivity in perception, because Sony had already started to give up this “playstation only” from PS5. Neither Demon;s Souls; nor Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart.
Sony has released two games so far, Horizon Zero Dawn 2017 and Days Gone, in 2019. With so many games next, we’re unlikely to see Ghost of Tsushima, one of the latest PS4 exclusives, as the next game. Anyway, I think Sony will continue to prefer games that have been around for a while to minimize possible reactions (you know, PlayStation players can rebel against such situations).
Ghost of Tsushima will wait while there’s a whole Bloodborne there, right:)
If Sony misleaders me and says in the coming days, “Ghost of Tsushima is coming to PC,” I’ll update this article and say, “I was wrong.” After all, it’s a small price to pay to play Ghost of Tsushima.
