The online mode of Remastered, the improved version of the action role-playing game Dark Souls, offered to players by Bandai Namco and FromSoftware, has been reactivated. With the reactivation of the servers, PC players can now play the game online.
Dark Souls servers are getting active again
Malicious code was found in the online mode of Dark Souls 3 in the past period, and FromSoftware shut down the servers of all Dark Souls games in February 2022 as a precaution. As such, Dark Souls players could not enter online mode in any of the games of the series.
When the dates showed August 2022, FromSoftware reactivated Dark Souls 3’s online mode. Then, in October 2022, he opened the hosts of Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin. Now, the servers of Dark Souls: Remastered have been activated again and players can access this part as they wish.
