Publisher Electronic Arts and developer BioWare have announced that they have completed the “Alpha” development process of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. In a new blog post, BioWare chief executive Gary McKay stated that the game can now be played from start to finish. The team also reported that they are still in the works and have a lot to show.
If we look at the blog post in general, we can see that the completion of the Alpha process is one of the milestones, that there is still a lot of work to be done, that the basic DNA of the game will be preserved and even carried to the next level, and that a story, memorable characters, dialogues and cinematics will take place in the game.
Previously, the team had this to say about the game: “Solas, Dreadwolf. Some say he may have been an ancient elven god, but others claim otherwise. One part says he’s a betrayer, and the other part is a hero. Some of the things he did are not understood, and his methods attract attention. This shows that he was a deceitful god.
Whether you’re a newcomer to Dragon Age stories or have experienced them all, there are endless possibilities for where things can go with Solas. As with any past game, you will experience this whole adventure. If you’re new to Dragon Age, you don’t have to worry about not having met your enemy. We will properly introduce him when the time comes. “
