Deviation Games co-founder Jason Blundell has announced his departure from the studio. Co-founder Dave Anthony will continue to lead the development team.
Former Treyarch developers Blundell and Anthony, who worked on the Call of Duty series, founded Deviation Games in 2020. In June 2021, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced a partnership with Deviation Games to develop a large-scale original game.
Commenting on Blundell’s departure, the Deviation Games team stated: “Jason Blundell has left the Deviation Games studio. We appreciate Jason’s contributions and wish him every success in his future endeavors. The Deviation team will continue to be led by Dave Anthony, who took on the role of game director last year and will continue to be a guiding force looking forward.
We’re also excited to announce that Louis Castle has joined Deviation Games as senior vice president of development.”
